Internal Medicine Propedeutics
Welcome to the Department of Internal Medicine and Oncology!
- Lectures and practices are held in the Department. Lecture slides will be available on the website of the Department as well as in Moodle. Lectures, however will not be recorded.
- Semi-final exam includes demostration of patient examination skills bedside, and two questions from the topic list.
- There is no exemption from the exam. There are neither midterms nor a competition.
- Groups 1-9 study Internal Medicine Propedeutics in the second semester, whereas Groups 10-18 in the first semester. Students have to take up the subject according to their group assignment.
In both semesters, the subject is taught by the two departments of internal medicine. Lectures are held in the Dept. of Internal Medicine and Hematology. Practices in the first semester are held for groups 10,11,16,17 and 18 in the Dept. of Internal Medicine and Hematology (Szentkirályi Street), and for groups 12,13,14 and 15 in the Dept. of Internal Medicine and Oncology (Korányi Street). Students take their semifinal exam the same department they register to and attend practices.
